Managing studies with football, being brought up by a single mother, coming from a small town; all these definitely did not make his journey easier but his determination turned out to be far stronger than these hurdles.

He also got a strong support from her single mother who even went one step ahead by hiring a personal trainer for him. Heyer’s father, who unfortunately passed away when Stephon was quite young, was the one who introduced him to the game of football.
