Success should have a bigger meaning
As a little kid, one would dream to become really rich and buy all the things one wanted. To do this, this little kid must have the determination and perseverance to attain that goal in life. So when this kid grows up, he gets all the chance to achieve his dreams in all the ways he wanted to do. He could first earn a degree, apply in a company, gain experience, be promoted, and continue rising in the career ladder. On the other hand, he also have the option of being creative, work in a small company, save some funds, start a business, expand, and be his own boss. In either way, this little dreamer can succeed with hard work and patience. Eventually, if this person is consistent, he can achieve success in no time and the only concern he needs to focus on is to maintain or expand this venture. But after this success what happens? Sometimes achieving this level of success is not enough.
Greed is not being referred in the previous statement, rather finding that significant meaning behind that success. One man was able to find an answer to that. Eric Schiffer is a known socialite and a businessman in Hollywood. He is invited to the most exclusive parties and red carpet events, but he did not wish to claim these as the real meaning of success for him. For Eric Schiffer, success is more than that and success for him is not something individual. When Schiffer succeeded as an actor, animated film director and producer, and a businessman, he knew he needed to share this gift with others. He did this through writing the book “Emotionally Charged Experience.” This book taught business-minded people how to handle different situations and scenarios which are all included in the book. Schiffer’s eagerness to share this gift to others was felt as he was able to sold 300,000 copies world-wide.
Just like everyone else, Eric Schiffer used to be a little boy with the dream to make a name for himself. He was able to do this with his drive and motivation to succeed. And now that he is savouring the moment, he knew that this success should be prolonged through inspiring others with the help of his book. Remember that money probably makes the world go round, but it is definitely not the thing that would make people remember a person.
